I'm migrating to a new Mac Pro with Mavericks, and currently run Parallels 6 on an old Mac Pro under Lion.

The installation instructions on this site do not mention a protocol for migrating an old VM when installing Parallels 9 from a pre-Parallels 7 version. Is it as simple as copying the .pvm file?

If so, exactly when should I copy that file, before installing Parallels, or after?

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

    2. Follow the instruction as given in the knowledge-base article : http://kb.parallels.com/114118 and this should help you to migrate your
