Will it be possible to transfer the license from my actual Mac to my new Mac?

I would like to take advantage of Cyber Monday offer, but I want to make sure that I will be capable to transfer the license.

I am not using any migration assistant, neither intend to do so: I want to start from the new laptop from scratch and install everything which I need.

So: will it be possible to retrieve all the software at a later time from the cloud?

    Thanks in advance,

    GL

    Hello GianlucaD,

Yes, you can move Parallels Desktop from one Mac to another. In order to move the software from one computer to another, you should first uninstall Parallels Desktop from your old Mac and then install it on the new one.

For more details to move Parallels Desktop to a new Mac, please follow this link: http://kb.parallels.com/116527

If you would like to use the same virtual machine you used on your old Mac, you should copy its .pvm file to an external storage or any back up and move it to your new Mac.

For more information about transferring a virtual machine file (.pvm file) to a new Mac or to an external drive, please follow: http://kb.parallels.com/114118
