Hi. For some reason, Parallels decided to override my file settings and now wants to open every AutoCAD file with Windows by default. I don't even know why or how it did this because I haven't even ran Parallels for a while. Choosing the Mac version manually and checking to set it as the new default app does not fix it. I decided to open Parallels and see if I could stop in the preferences, but I can't change any preferences because the trial period has ended. How do I fix this? I thought Parallels would be a bit more polished since I last ran it a few years ago, but now I can't help but feel like I've hosed a nice clean install of OS X thanks to this software. I hope I'm wrong.

Thanks. That worked. How do I get rid of the My Boot Camp Applications folder in Launchpad? I've already deleted it from the Applications folder but it still appears in Launchpad after a reboot.

    Hi Soupisgoodfood,

Please open Finder > Click Go on Mac menu bar > Home > Applications > Select My Boot Camp Applications folder and move it to trash > restart Mac > check Launchpad and let us know how it goes.
