    Hi,

I have a MacMini running 10.9.2 that boots from an external firewire drive. Parallels v9 application and VM reside on the external drive. I chose this configuration because the external drive is much faster than the internal drive in the mini.

Now that I have purchased a MacBook Air, I now have the external drive plugged into it. The MacOS boots up fine but when I try to run Parallels it wants to reactivate it using an email or something. If I plug it back to the mini it still runs fine.

How do I get Parallels to run on the new MacBook Air using my external drive setup?

Just reactivate it using the email account that you originally registered it with. Mine did the same thing when I transferred from a Mini to the Mac Pro I have now. No big deal really.
