Problem Report 30690778 Mac OS X 10.9 (Mavericks) Parallels Desktop 9 Build 9.0.23140 Guest: Windows 7 PD9 update yesterday proceeded to the Parallel Tools installation, which failed because the file could not be found. I reinstalled PD9 from the original dmg file (9.0.23136.932290) with the same result (Tools install failed due to missing file). In the PD9 Menu bar, Virtual Machine/Reinstall Parallels Tools is grayed out. I am at a loss as to next step. Any assistance greatly appreciated. --Gene
After several reboots of the Windows 7 guest OS, it finally began installing Parallels Tools. That process stopped at 24% and popped up a window saying "The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable". It asks me to find 'parallels-tools-amd64.msi. I click the Browse button and find the file where it should be (c:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Parallels\{32FC...}\Data\amd64) and it responds with "...not a valid installation package...". I tried other {...} subdirectory entries and they all received the same error. Any indication what these error messages are telling me? --Gene
Well, 6 months have gone by without ANY reply or assistance. Is there something else I'm supposed to get help on this Forum?
