I have a Parallels-Desktop VM on my Mac. I would like to boot into PC-Only or Bootcamp using that VM I've heard you can only do this if you created your VM in bootcamp for the start. It would take days to re-install all the software from scratch. Help please. Thanks
Hi ZacharyZ, Once a VM created using the Bootcamp you need not re install the applications running on your Bootcamp. To create a Bootcamp VM follow the steps as suggested at http://kb.parallels.com/113658 Thanks, Manoj.
Hello ZacharyZ, If you have a Boot Camp on your Mac, you convert the Boot Camp to Parallels Virtual Machine ( kb.parallels.com/113658 ) You can start the Virtual Machine after importing from the Boot Camp and whatever Changes that you make to your VM will be reflected on your Boot Camp as well and it is not required to reboot your Mac. However, it is not possible to convert a Virtual Machine ( created using a DVD or an image file ) to Boot Camp by any Parallels means. Thanks, Maheeshwar
