    Hello

first i must say it's been 1 hour i went through the all process, sending a email support request as i have more then 300 days left for this, but when i got to the end of the process, giving the id report and answerring to all question, including message description,.... i got the message saying there is nothing in database in relation to my informations... i love this kind of support.

so at least i ended up to this forum, hopefully i'll find someone who can help.

i bought the full version of parallels for mac.

I cannot access to any of the files : pictures, my documents, videos, ... it opens a messages saying that windows cannot access to psf / home / desktop ....

Diagnostic of that says there is no connection.

There is connection, internet explorer works perfectly.

So could someone help me on this ?

I need to access files, i need as well to save pdf files extract from internet explorer.

    thankyou
    id report is 40815789

should i give again here my support code ???

Parallels Desktop -> Virtual Machine -> Configure -> Options -> Sharing

Either disable Shared Profile, or enable Share Folders: Home folder only, or All disks.

"Shared Folders: Home folder only", will enable \\psf\Home\ which points to ~/ on the Mac (your home folder = /Users/yourusername/).
"Shared Folders: All disks" will do the same plus \\psf\Host\ which points to / on the Mac. All the Mac disks then appear at \\psf\Host\Volumes\
Other Shared Folders will be listed at \\psf\

When you enable Shared Profile, Parallels Tools will modify the Windows Libraries settings so that the Libraries (Documents, Pictures, etc) will point to the corresponding Mac folders (~/Document, ~/Pictures, etc.) via \\psf\Home\. I believe Desktop and Downloads are implemented as short cuts instead of Libraries.

You can check the Library or short cut properties before and after enabling the Shared Profile option to see what I mean.

The Parallels Shared Folders (psf) depend on Parallels Tools being installed. You may need to reinstall Parallels Tools (in the Parallels Desktop -> Virtual Machine menu).

    hello

and thank you to both of you, it works !

but for information, just saving a pdf (print through pdf creator and save on a folder), takes about 4 minutes...

do you know why this Windows is so slow ? i'm on parallels 9 and windows 8

is there a way to push it a bit ?

installed programmes are only pdf creator and printer

normal use of mac is fine.

    thank you
