    Our company uses Microsoft Lync extensively for collaboration. My issue is that every morning, I have to reconfigure my logitech headset. Not just plug it in, but go into control panel and go through the 'Add a headset' wizard, and even then, it's flakey.

    I'm running Parallels 9 (latest) with a Windows 8.1 guest OS. My Logitech headset is connected via a wireless dongle (not bluetooth) to a powered USB hub.

    It's almost like the configuration never gets saved or it is seen as a new device each time I plug it in. Any ideas?

    Hi mgargiullo,

    Follow the steps to connect the headset to the Windows VM;

    Click on the Parallels Desktop > Preferences > Devices > Choose the option Connect it to the active Virtual Machine

    Also choose the USB device in the Permanent Assignments and change the connect to option from Computer to Windows Virtual Machine.

    If the USB device is not in the list click on the '+' option on the left corner of the Permanent Assignments in order to add it.

    Thanks,
    Manoj
