    I Want to install a application on the VM(Win7) of my Mac (With Parallels Desktop 9), but it failed.

    This application is installed in a VM(Win7) local folder with its database file, but if it wants to shared database with other PCs, it has to share the folder to let other PCs can watch that shared folder. But we can't use Mac to share any local folder of VM(Win7), and other PCs can't shared the database of application.

    I had tried to shared a Mac folder with VM(Win7), but in VM(Win7)'s view, that's a network drive, and MS SQL Server can only open a database from local drive, so it failed.

    Now I hope anyone can help me:

    1.How to shared a MS SQL database to other PCs (of LAN)?
    2.How to shared a local drive of VM(Win7) to other PCs ?

    Thanks.

    Hello tziwei,

    Follow the steps given below and this will help you to share the Virtual Machine's local drive to other PC's :

    1. Go to VM Configuration ( http://kb.parallels.com/117287 ) -> Hardware -> Network 1 -> Change to Bridge mode.
    2. Restart the Virtual Machine.

    Thanks,
