I am trying to install Windows 8 from a CD, and doing so from within a Windows XP virtual window on a second screen as described in Parallels support doc. I get the error: "The procedure entry point__CxxFrameHandler3 could not be located in the dynamic link library msvcrt.dll." I pick OK and the next error appears: "The file 'auto run.dll' could not be loaded or is corrupt. Setup cannot continue. Error code is (0x7F)" Can't get beyond this wall. I'm running Parallels 9.0 on an iMac OS 10.8.5. My machine exceeds memory, processor, and graphics card system requirements. Is it possible that I need to completely delete the Windows virtual machine and re-install it? Desperate.
