I am currently using VMWare 7 on a PC.
I copied the virtual machine to my Mac and opened it with Parallels.
It said it needed to convert the virtual machine.

    It always failed with 43100.

Does the conversion process support a vm froom VMWare 7?

I googled and found that days ago.
    It did not work.

Also, it does not answer my question.

Does the conversion process support vm from VMWare 7?
Has this been tested by the Parallels team?
Where is the documentation that says that Parallels supports conversion from what type of virtual machine and which version.

    Hi GregoryPekofsky,

VMware files end with .vmx and can be converted using Parallels Desktop 9 for Mac.

Please refer to this link for more information: http://kb.parallels.com/115305

    Thanks,
    Looran

This link only indicates VMWare Fusion support ... it does not indicate VMWare workstation support.

Does this mean that VMWare Workstation 7 vmx are not tested by the Parallels team?
