Dear colleagues. After upgrading to Parallels Desktop v. 9 and Mavericks OSX my USB driver of Windows XP Professional stopped working. I tried to reinstall the driver again from Windows/System32, from the Windows installation CD and even reinstalling Parallels Tools. It does not work. Now, for example, to use an external printer via usb directly I can not do it, I must do it via 'Bonjour'. Could you help me? Thank you very much in advance.

    Hi Jmverges,

To uninstall drivers with exclamation symbol on device manager, Please follow the steps below :

Click Start > click Run > Type devmgmt.msc > Right click on drivers and click Uninstall. > Reboot Windows.

And also perform the steps provided at http://kb.parallels.com/111725 to troubleshoot the issue with USB devices on Windows VM and let us know.

    Thanks,

    Manoj D

USB drivers with Parallels v. 9 and OSX Mavericks not works (II)

Hi Manoj D. Firstly, thank you very much for your help. The solution you propose I had already tried before and it did not work. I searched the database of Parallels and had already made http://kb.parallels.com/en/113749 "Unable to find the parallels driver for usb devices error message" and http://kb.parallels.com/ en/111725 "Troubleshooting USB Devices in Parallels Desktop for Mac". Anyway I'm back to do all the steps and did not work. I attach a PDF with screenshots of the steps. I appreciate new proposals. Thanks a lot.
