I've just updgraded from Parallels 8 to 9. I have Dropbox installed on both my Mac and in Bootcamp, and both OSs have their own Dropbox folder. One of the reasons I upgraded was the vaunted ability to share a single Dropbox service, thereby freeing up about 40gb of my disk space. I'm following the instructions here:

    http://kb.parallels.com/en/116987

It doesn't seem to have any effect. I'm not quite sure what is supposed to happen, but from the screenshots on the page referenced, I'm led to believe that I would get a shortcut in Windows to "Dropbox on 'psf' (Y:)", which I don't, and / or something in Favourites in Finder on the Mac pointing to the Dropbox folder on Windows, which I don't.

I have a pre-existing shortcut to Dropbox in Finder, but this points to the OS X Dropbox folder, and similarly in Windows I have a Dropbox shortcut that points to the Windows Dropbox folder.

I can navigate to the Bootcamp (C:) dropbox folder from OS X, but I could always do that, so I'm not really sure what version 9 is adding here.

    I've restarted the machine, btw.

I'm also slightly confused by the options under Options > Sharing in the VM configuration app: for 'Share Mac' you have the option to share "iCloud, Dropbox, and Google Drive" whereas for 'Share Windows' you only have the option to "Share SkyDrive with Mac". Does this mean that I can't share my Windows Dropbox service with the Mac? Do I only have the option to share the Mac Dropbox with Windows?

What am I supposed to be seeing, and what am I doing wrong? Does it matter that I already have Dropbox on both machines?

PD9/DropBox Share Selected in configurtion >> No Change

I have had the same experience. I desperately need to space on my SSD drive and continually double save everything going to DropBox in each partition.

Did we need to uninstall from the Virtual Drive first? We need an answer.
