Mouse not working properly.. HELP please.

Hi All,

I purchased the "evoluent vertical mouse 4" and i'm running windows 8.1 on a macbook pro retina with Parallels 9.0

I installed the MAC drivers, works perfect. Any option to get this and the extra programmable buttons (back/forward/and a few customizable buttons) to work without mounting it to windows itself? So the mouse would be usable at the same time in MAC and WINDOWS.

If that doesn't work (cause I don't manage so far). I could mount it, download the drivers from the website (not for w8, only w7 64-bit. So I downloaded that one). Drivers are working, the mouse is reacting to the programmed buttons I apply, the mouse moves but the mouse cursor doesn't move; so we get the pointer that stays in the same position (the thing that normally moves when moving a mouse to know where you are clicking), but a invisible cursor is still moving over my screen.

Any help would be VERY MUCH appreciated. going crazy after 8 hours of searching for a solution

Please make sure to uninstall the mouse drivers on the Windows side (if you have any), turn on the SmartMouse at http://download.parallels.com/desktop/v9/ga/docs/en_US/Parallels Desktop User's Guide/37215.htm and set it to Optimize for Games.
