I am running snow leopard with Parallels 7. I am planing on getting a new iMac in the next couple of months. If I upgrade my present system to the new version of Parallels will I be able to copy this upgraded Parallels to my new iMac running Mavericks when I purchase it?

    Thanks

    Hi TucoRiley,

No problem. This process appears less time consuming than re-creating a new VM. I have Parallels 8 with the latest updates and will move this version to a new Mac. I thought about upgrading to v9 first but there seems to be mixed reviews on its stability at the moment.

Good luck, let me know how it goes

    Regards
    Kevin
