I just updated a Debian guest with Linux Kernel 3.12 and am unable to install Parallels tools under Build 8.0.18615. Has anyone had success with this? If not, is there any plan to support this latest kernel? Hello This Thread explain all. I have to download last version (9.0.24172) of the linux tool and apply the patch. Bye
jeanjd63 reply did not solve the problem. You implicitly suggest to buy parallels 9 to prevent fixing the bug in parallels8 tools. This thread has proven that Ubuntu 13.10 works with parallels 8: http://forum.parallels.com/showthre...ot-working-launcher-amp-toolbar-missing/page2 @ Parallels: Stop advertising that Version 9 and fix the bug in 8.
