How to disable mouse synchronization between Host and Guest OS in parallels 9

There is article for Parallels 4 http://kb.parallels.com/en/5667 but i want to do it for 9.
The main reason why i need to do it is http://apple.stackexchange.com/questions/5874/can-i-have-multiple-mice-keyboards-for-one-mac
i want to have separate isolated mouse courses, like it is when you are just installing Windows in Parallels.

 

Add line "video.hw_pointer=0" (without quotes) to VM Configuration > Hardware > Boot order > Boot flags.

Any chance you got this working with a guest os of Mavericks

I too am trying to split a mac so that it can be used by two people (two monitors, two keyboards, two mice). I setup a mavericks VM and when I plug an optical mouse in and specify that it is to be used by the VM it has no pointer. Tried the video.hw_pointer=0 boot flag and that didn't help.

 

This flag is only useful for Windows guests. Guest OS X requires [virtualized] hardware mouse pointer support, sorry.
