I'm having trouble running quicken 2014 in coherence mode, in a windows 7 vm: if quicken is minimised it cant be activated again neither by the dock icon or the application switcher (command-tab). The only way to activate it again is to execute it in the windows 7 start menu, then it comes back. Any one having this trouble? Any one using quicken 2014?

I am having another problem. I am running parallels 9 with Windows 7 Home Premium. My Mac laptop is running OS X 10.8.5. Quicken 2013 ran great in coherence. I installed 2014 Deluxe version (was running Deluxe before) and now the fonts are all messed up. Some print is too small to read while elsewhere on the page the font is so big it writes over itself. Menu bars at the top of the page looked shadowed (they repeat slightly offset). I tried adjusting the screen resolution which I was shocked to see defaulted to 199% but lowing the percentage doesn't work--it keeps going back to 199%. Any ideas?

  3. Toad, actually, my problem was the same as yours, not as the OP (sorry). See the link I provided and adjust the video option as noted. Mine was set at Best for Retina, and that caused the same problem you are describing. The fonts were all messed up, toolbars were overlapping, and I couldn't read anything. Toggling between More Space and Scaled, I think More Space is what solved the font issue. Works fine now.

Thanks. I am new to "foruming" and am still learning how to post and respond. I don't see a link. Can you tell me where to go specifically to get it?

Thanks. That helped some. At least I can read the page now and the titles aren't shadowed. Retina and more space options were horrible. I settled on scaled for the best results. But I wish I hadn't upgraded. It was perfect before. Oh well.

I am also having problems with all of the above and also wish I never upgraded or what ever has caused this mess. I had Quicken 2014 on a Mac Air with 4G's of ram but it always was on the edge but Quicken looked great. I upgraded my computer to a Mac Pro 13" Retina with //'s 9 and Quicken is a mess no matter what I try. I have been in contact with Intuit with no resolution. I have no shadow now but the accounts are too small and the registers are too large and especially the spending page is really out of proportion.
