My hard drive in the Windows 7 VM was set to 65GB or so "expanding". I tried to install a new application which requires 15GB of storage and I only had 4GB remaining. I went into the VM configuration and increased the drive size to 128GB with the resize file system and expanding drive options checked. After VM restart it is still reporting the drive size as 65GB under properties. However in the disk management settings it shows the full sized partition of 128GB. I have restarted several times. I have changed it from expanding to normal disk. It continues to do the same thing regardless. Parallels version 9: Build 9.0.23350 Macbook Pro OSX Mavericks Windows 7 64bit All OS and software have been updated to the latest versions... Any suggestions are appreciated. I need to get this software running this weekend but it won't allow me to install because it says I do not have enough drive space. Regards, Jason
Here is a screen shot of the disk management console showing that the partition size and the reported drive size don't match.
