"Houston, we have a problem.) ... already.
I downloaded the software and subsequently discovered that
    A ) I have mis-read or mis-understood the instructions.
B ) There is a fault in the download.
    or
C ) I actually do, as I suspected, require a Windows disk before it will run properly.

If C is the case, better part of the trial 2 weeks will be taken up acquiring loan of a disk from far flung points.

Is there any way in which I can "put it on hold" until I have it up and running?

A very user unfriendly company. If they have an email address it's too well hidden for me to find.

    The answer is C).

Please try to use a more relevant topic next time, this will allow other users to search and find similar questions and answers better. "Help" doesn't really help anyone, nor anyone will answer you faster because of it. Thank you.
