    Hi,

I have Parallels 7 and Windows XP worked fine with my Mac. I recently updated the Mac to the newest Mavericks version. Now, on Windows XP, my network drives don't work and I can't print to the printer.
Will installing Parallels 8 resolve these issues? Please advise. Thanks.

Uninstall and reinstall Parallels Tools inside the VM, XP should work well inside PDM9 (I can attest that it does in a setup similar to yours).

So simply uninstall my Parallels 7. Reinstall Parallels 7 again, and then, reboot. That's it, right?
No need to install Parallels 8?
