    Hello,

I wanted to buy a version of Parallels Desktop and I decided to use the trial version first. I am very surprised but it actually... does not work. I tried twice to install it. I chose everytime "use as a mac" but there is no integration with my mac.

I see a new windows where I can run Windows, that works normally. But no folder of windows app has been created in my dock, I can't open any .exe from the mac system... Where is the integration between windows and mac OS the program is supposed to offer ?

    Thanks for your help.

    Hm,

just checking - you have installed Windows in the Parallels VM? Parallels do not come with Windows, you need you own license and installation medium (DVD). You can run limited number of Windows applications in Crossover, where you do not need Windows license. But anything more you need license and install the OS in Parallels.

Did you install the Parallels Tools (which should have happened automatically after installing Windows in the VM)? Did you enable the features you want in the VM configuration?
