I have the newest Parallels 9 and just upgraded to Mavericks. Parallels starts but no WinXP window shows. The virtual machine shows it running and sound is coming out when I stat a program, but no screen. Any help?

If I go to Mission Control I can see the full size window! When I go back to the desktop it disappears!

    UPDATE:

If I drag the WinXP window to a new window in mission control I can see it. It is like the computer is mapping the VM to a screen size that doesn't exist

It looks like you're running Parallels Desktop in Coherence view mode: http://kb.parallels.com/en/4670
Switch to the Window mode and you'll see the Windows screen.

I have the same problem, but the mission control workaround doesn't work. The screen is some how positioned of-screen. I'm not using Coherence mode. Any idea?

    Ok, found a quick fix:

    1. Open Perferences
    2. Select Monitor
    3. Select the option to synchronize your multi monitor view, this gets all windows back in view
    4. Disable the option again
    5. Arrange VM windows new

    Done.
