Parallels 8 and 10.8.5

Does Parallels 8 support osx 10.8.5 and above ?

 

I'm running it. However - and this is something that needs to be addressed, ever since 10.8.5 was released the audio is malfunctioning. One might say that this is a one off, but I'm working at a university and at the exact same time that others updated to 10.8.5 the audio problem began to occur with their P8 installation. The issue is not unique to P8 either, it's also happening to P9 users. What happens is that every time a windows sound event is triggered there is a popping / clicking that occurs instead of audio. Other than that it works well.
