Hi,
I have a 15", Early 2011 MBP. I had Windows 8 installed under bootcamp. Last night I upgraded to Windows 8.1. After the upgrade, I tried booting into my Virtual Machine (I was using Windows from Boot Camp in Parallels) but the machine wouldn't boot. The error was that the hard drive does not contain an OS. Thinking that there was nothing to lose, I deleted the VM and tried to create a new one.
However, when I try to create a new VM I get the following message:
Code:
A disk configuration error has occurred. Make sure that you have read/write permissions for the disk.
Error: PRL_ERR_DISK_GPT_MBR_NOT_EQUAL (0x80021065)
Path: '/Users/rahul/Documents/Parallels/My Boot Camp.pvm/Hitachi HTS725050A9A362 (disk0).hdd'
I can still boot into the Windows environment using bootcamp though. Any help would be highly appreciated.
I am using OS X 10.8.5 and have already upgraded to Parallels 9.
Thanks
Rahul
