Here are my specifications on my existing machine OSX 10.7.5, 2.26 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo and 4 GB 1067 MHz DDR3 memory. This is an older 2009 machine. Will it meet the requirements for Parallels 9 software. My concern is the age on my machine and the ability to run Windows 7 Professional. Any input would be appreciated. LJBlock

It should be able to run it as my Mac Pro is a 2008 model and runs fine. The main problem you will have is memory. 4gb is not nuch to create a VM with, youll only be able to assign 1g maybe 2g of RAM to the VM. Any more will cause your whole machine to run slow while swapping accurs.
