    Hi all,
I am running Parallels 7 on Mac OSX Lion and was wondering if there is a way to not have Parallels create a folder in my Documents directory. I would like to place it just under my home but Parallels keeps creating the directory under Documents. Is there any way to change this behavior?

    Thanks,
    Greg

I just had the same issue and this answer helped.

However I wonder why Parallels did let me choose a default location at first installation (which I created right under my users folder, as I have been used from VMware Fusion), and then created this useless folder nonetheless. But Parallels seems to love to create folders and not care about users who want a clutterfree environment (see this thread). Really hope they fix this in later versions.

@specimen: Seems I accidentially hit the "Not helpful" button. Very sorry about that. :( Is there any way how I can correct this?

I sync my Documents folders across my machines (two desktop PCs, one laptop and the Mac) and certainly don't want the Parallels virtual machine(s) on the other computers.
