Hey guys, Im tried to use Parallels to play Planetside 2 on my new 21inch imac 3.1 ghz i7 16gb ram and it wasn't really able to handle it.. Im trying to now use bootcamp.. Does anyone have recommendations on how to convert windows to Bootcamp without having to buy another licensed copy? And how will I be able to get my files from the Parallels over to Bootcamp.. Im completely new at this so any help would be great. Thanks.

Planetside 2 works for me here. Try lowering in-game resolution and graphics settings. It's also worth assigning 2 CPUs and 2Gb of RAM to the VM.

Is there an actual answer to the question?

Thanks for the response however, Unfortunately this does not answer the question...I am looking to do the same thing...port my Windows install under Parallels to Bootcamp...Running Windows (and Windows applications) in the Parallels VM has been totally flaky (even with 4GB RAM allocated to it) and I need an alternative. If a migration can't be done please just state that and any reason/s why so we can start the arduous process of completely re-installing Windows and all of our programs then migrating our data to the new Bootcamp install. If there is a helpful tool to do the migration or any assistance that your support team can provide to help achieve this it would be welcome and most helpful.

I guess I'm done trying to get the product to work and I need to know if you or anyone else has an easier way out...is it possible to port the Windows install from Parallells to Bootcamp? If so are there any tools or advice on how to achieve this?

    Thanks!
