Hello, I found frequent situations where some folders are locked by Parallel Control center (prl_cc.exe), and cannot be moved or deleted. Is this a bug? Is there a workaround? Thanks
Hi, Could you please provide a screen shot or exact text of the error message? What are the steps you perform to reproduce it?
It's not an specific error message. It's folders handles being hold by the process, and thus can't be deleted (Windows saying "the folder xxx cannot be deleted because it is locked by another process". Process Explorer shows effectively that prl_cc.exe has these folders in handle.
Same Issue: Screenshots attached. prl_cc holds a handle to C:\cygwin_old\bin on my Windows 7 guest. "Cygwin" does not appear in Start Menu or desktop toolbar. "cygwin_old" does not appear anywhere in the registry. The directory exists. I am trying to delete it. Failure message is attached. The only resolution that I have found for this class of error is to terminate the prl_cc.exe application.
