Work gave me a PC. I hate PCs. But I have some applications I need and will likely need to fool my corporate network into thinking my computer is my PC (vs. my mac running parallels). Effectively, I want to take an exact copy of my HD from my PC and use it in parallels running on my mac. I've tried a few different ways to do this, but keep running into issues where it won't work. Anyone done this successfully?

    Here's my system info:
    Windows 7 Sp1
    Intel i7 3520M CPU
    4GB RAM
    32 bit OS

I have a new Macbook air with 8GB Ram, external DVD drive, and Parallels 8.

    Use Parallels Transporter.

You talk about issues you had, but unless you explain what issues are those and what you've tried that's my only suggestion. Parallels Transporter is the application that transforms a PC into a Parallels VM.
