My friend gave me a copy of his extra windows 7 he had, he sent me picture of the key. I activated windows a year ago. I recently wiped my phone and lost the picture of the CD key. I tried to use 2 key recovering programs in the virtual windows 7 but it does work all I get is BBBB-BBBB-BBB-BBBB any way to recover the CD key?
I don't know what programs did you use, I have used this http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/product_cd_key_viewer.html in the past and worked on various computers. Doesn't work with Volume Licenses thou, but in which case, volume licenses should be handled by the IT dept.
