Okay, so I have parallels running on a brand new mac mini mountain lion server. I installed windows 7, and quickbooks. My issue is I need to be able to access the quickbooks files from an xp machine. I'm not sure how I give/grant access to the PC to get through the mac into the parallels 7 machine? If anybody could walk me through the steps to do this I would be very thankful.

Again I need multiple users on xp machines to have access to a folder that is on the VM inside of the mac mini! I can access the mac, but I'm not sure how I grant further access into the VM machine and then into the target folder.

    Thanks all!!!

Use Shared Folders, more information about it in the user guide.

Okay, so you're saying that if I set my quicbooks folder up as a shared folder, that not only will the mac mini that parallels is running on will have access to this folder, but the rest of my network will be able to access it as well?

No, that's not what I'm saying because, you didn't specify that, when you said multiple users on multiple machines I though you meant VMs, but anyway, that should be a simple network share (file sharing) in OSX via SMB, just be sure everyone is on the same sub-network, you might need to use Bridge network in Parallels.
