Shortcut to hide MS Office Ribbon

To hide the ribbon in Microsoft Office the shortcut is ctrl+F1. This doesn't work in OS X, and yes I've tried fn+ctrl+F1. I tried mapping this in the preferences (even though it's the same e.g. ^+F1 maps to ctrl+F1). Is there any keyboard shortcut that'll work? Thanks

I had the same problem, and I was able to map Command+F1 to Control+F1. It did work for me.

Maybe you can find useful as well the Control+V+U shortcut to enter in Full Screen Mode

Thanks for the reply. I wonder why ctrl+F1 didn't work, but I'll consider your mapping.
