Hi, I can't access a file on a guest hard drive from the host from Terminal, or from a running test suite. I have a WinXP guest I use for software testing. I'm running a test suite from the Mac that does a SQL Server backup, and the backup ends up on the server. I need to access a folder on the VM programmatically from the Mac to verify that my test worked. I can see/move/copy/delete the file if I use Finder or Path Finder. If I use the command line, I should be able to find my file in /Volumes/C/MSSQL/Backups/nameOfMyBackup.bak but /Volumes/C is empty. Is there another setting I'm missing? Is there a better place where this file is mapped? Thanks.
Bump. Somebody has to know where or how to get to the files on the Windows disk from my Mac without using a mouse.
