I just installed the Parallels 8 and windows 8. My Mac OS system is 10.8.2 In the full screen mode, when I move the mouse to the bottom of the windows screen, the Mac dock bar will show. What should I do to make it unhappen? Thanks all!!!
Hi ZhiqiangT, I get the same result and it's supposed to be this way. Though it happens only when navigate to the very-very bottom of the screen (it does not show up when you click on Windows Start or taskbar, right?) I can submit a feature for future versions if you want.
Hello Andrew, I, for one, would like to see this as an option to disable... If I want to see the Mac Dock, I can simply swipe back to my Mac Host. I vote that you submit this as a feature request. Thanks much!
Oh, please Parallels team, implement this, it's so annoying do get the dock bar and mac taskbar by accident when I'm about to use the Windows or Linux menus.
I vote for this being a feature as well... When I'm in full screen mode I'm effectively in windows mode, but the docks keeps popping up which constantly interferes with using Windows... If I don't stop and tiptoe around the taskbar while I'm in the middle of something, I end up clicking a dock icon which both causes a random application to launch on my mac and causes me to switch out of windows onto the Mac desktop. This in turn fully breaks productivity... Of course the issue is ridiculous when using a Mac OS X VM. With the windows task bar I can *carefully* move my cursor down and avoid hitting the bottom edge of the screen (assuming I remember to). In a Mac OS X VM I need to move my cursor to the bottom edge of the screen to access the VM dock, at which time I end up with both the Host Mac dock & the VM dock showing. This makes clicking icons on the VM dock impossible... I end up having to take several tries to juggle the cursor up and down to ensure I trigger only the VM dock... This (in addition to being a severe annoyance) effectively blocks productivity since it pretty much always happens...
