I have mac book pro that has a cd/dvd usb drive. I installed parallels & Windows 8 pro. I now want to install quicken 8 onto windows 8, however I don't know how to do the install. Help Please.
Hi, Make sure your VM is up and running>insert your usb cd/dvd> a pop-up window should appear select the vm>Windows should look for drivers for the new hardware> once installation of usb cd/dvd has finished> insert your copy of quicken 8> install your software as usual. If your cd/dvd usb drive is already installed on the mac, after starting your vm> select your usb drive from the drop down menu lower right. then let window look for drivers for your usb cd/dvd drive>once complete>insert installation cd for quickens> install as usual
