    Hey,
What is the exact error message? Are you getting it while trying to create a snapshot or delete snapshot?
Please send us the problem report ID when you see the error message (http://kb.parallels.com/9058) and post the ID here.

    Interesting

Both creating and deleting manually works fine. I just created one and am now deleting the root from last month. Its the automatic that fails almost instantly, so I asume the auto delete is missing something. Ill have to wait til it prompts me to create one. I say yes and it does the necessary files not found ?

Please wait till the error comes up the next time, and submit a problem report (post the ID here).

    Hi Andrew,
It doesnt allow me the option to submit a report. All it says in the dialog box is "Unable to complete operation. Required files not found " and an Ok button ?

I'm getting Problem ID 19014 when trying to create a snapshot and the same to deleting a snapshot. I then tried to do it repeatedly and got PRL_ERR_DISK_USER_INTERUPTED. I can't find anything on it in the knowledge base.

    (Parallels 8, Windows 8)

Okay, so I fixed this without all of the voodoo that all the techies on this site tried and failed. I have a MAC with Windows 7 and the latest and greatest of the Mac software and started to get the exact same problem. I figured this would happen as soon as Parallels 9 came out. Makes you want to upgrade, right? That's what suspicious me always has assumed and sure enough, here we all are trying to figure out a 'new error'. Well, enough of the proselytizing..For Version 8 of Parallels, what I first did was go to the very top of your screen with the Parallels menu. (I know I'm basic...deal with it!). Under Virtual Machine, choose 'Manage snapshots'. Then go to the very earliest of snapshots other than the very first one (First Windows 7). Then choose 'delete snapshot with children'. I was a bit nervous about this because I was worried about deleting my backup, and if you are truly nervous, back up your stuff on a separate drive and disconnect, but I went kamikaze and deleted it! Takes a while, doesn't it? That's okay. Also, I'm the type to get bored and start poking around on my machine, perhaps on the Mac side, while I wait. Don't do it. Walk away. Come back and if it's done, wonderful! Next...if you have Quicken or other software that makes daily or periodic backups, now is a great time to go back and get rid of the stuff you won't ever use. I have backups going back to 2009 for EVERY DAY! Not good. Fix your machine now. Might be a good time to defrag also. Now, go back to the Parallels bar at the top, and choose Virtual Machine, and TAKE A SNAPSHOT. So, what I've done is basically cleared up a whole lot of space, gotten rid of a bunch of snapshots, and at least for awhile my computer is not going to barf out the 19014 code. I did my normal shut down to see if it worked. YAY. NO MORE ERROR MESSAGE!!! I can't guarantee how long this will last. You may have to do this periodically, but until we're ready to cough up some cash for Parallels 9 this is my best solution. And no one is saying if Parallels 9 has the same issue, so if it ain't broke, yada yada yada. Have a wonderful day and let me know if this works for you.
