Do I need to reinstall window in order to upgrade my Parallels?

    I just recently purchased and the download parallels desktop 8 upgrade for the parallels 7 I currently have. It seems like I need uninstall parallels 7 before I can install parallels 8, is that means I need to also reinstall my windows? That would means everything I now have in my windows will be lost is it?

    Another reason I ask is because I am currently oversea right now, my windows CD and CD drive for my Mac are both back home in US, I wouldn't know how to reinstall windows without them.

    No, just install the upgrade.
