I have a new MBPro (retina display, 2.7 GHz i7, 16 GB RAM, 512 GB SSD). I'm running PD8 with a Windows 7 64-bit VM. I'm running in Window mode configured with 4 GB RAM, 4 CPUs, 1 GB VRAM, 3D acceleration: DirectX9, and, under Optimization, Performance: Faster VM, Power: Better performance. My Win 7 screen resolution is set to 2632 x 1644. I'm running RealFlight v6.5 (a radio control flight simulator) and getting 120 to 130 fps. However, the display is VERY "jumpy," particularly when the background has to scroll rapidly. How can I change my settings to improve my performance? I had MUCH better performance in my XP VM (which, unfortunately, had other issues but makes me want to go back).

Well, I made one change and it has made all the difference. I selected Optimization->Enable Adaptive Hypervisor and I'm now getting very smooth performance and around 300 fps. I'm good. :)
