Hello! I've downloaded the Parallels 8 trial on my Mac Pro. It didn't perform as I had hoped, and the performance of both Mac and Windows are now unstable. I'm not looking to fix Parallels 8 so it works smoothly, I'm wondering if there's a way I can clean Parallels 8 off of my Windows drive so that it runs exactly the way it did before Parallels 8 was installed. The boot screen is now different, the boot is slower, there are some weird issues with audio occasionally, and Windows now freezes. Also, naturally I have to reactivate Windows 7. I really feel like I wasn't warned that this trial is very difficult to reverse. The idea of a trial is that you can give it a shot and simply uninstall if you're not pleased with the product. I've put a ton of work into my Windows setup and I will be very upset if I have to reinstall Windows 7. Thanks for your time, Jason
In Bootcamp: Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs > Uninstall Parallels Tools Note: Time is a precious thing to all of us, no point in going thru lenghtly explanations that ask readers a level of attention that we are unlikely to give. I confess I only read your post in diagonal, because it gets quite redundant.
