I ran out of hard drive space, so I was "cleaning up" and accidentally moved a file I should not have. I moved the windows xp operating system file, windowsxp-0.hdd to the mac desktop. It is not the PVM itself, but rather the operating system.

When I start parallels, it fails to start because it "cannot connect to disk".

Does anyone know what folder I need to move it back to? I wasnt paying good attention when I grabbed it.

    Thanks in Advance

    Hi,

Are you using an older version of Parallels?
In Parallels the .hdd files are usually stored in this folder: /Users/<YourUserName>/Documents/Parallels/<NameOfTheVirtualMachine>
