    Hello,

I am useing Paralles 8 Build 8.0.18354 on my iMac.

My Windows 7 virtual machine is configured for optimized Time Machine usage.

Parallels started an automated snapshot deleting 3 hours ago and seems not to end, it stops at 66% and is still there, nothing happens.

What can I do to solve the problem?

    Many greetings from Germany

    Andrew,

thanks for this information, I am sorry it does not work.

    I get the following screen

    makadi-bay:~ andy$ prl_disk_tool merge --hdd/parallels/Windows\ 7.pvm/Windows\ 7.hdd
    Invalid option '--hdd/parallels/Windows 7.pvm/Windows 7.hdd'.
    Usage:
    <operation> [<arguments>...] [--comm <name of shared memory>]
    <operation> :
    resize .................. resize disk image.
    mandatory arguments:
--split split the virtual hard disk by 2 GB.
--size <size>[M|G] sets the virtual hard disk size in MB (by default) or GB.
--hdd <path to *.hdd> path to the virtual hard disk image file.
    optional arguments:
--resize_partition resize the last partition while resizing the disk.
    --force

    and so on

    What is to be done

    Thanks from Germany
    Andreas

Look at the kb carefully, you need a space between --hdd and the path

    it's "--hdd /parallels/..." not "--hdd/parallels/..."
