45 gb???

    The Parallels download worked fine. Then the Windows 8 Preview kept failing. It had to be downloaded several times. Where do I find all of those files? I have a brand new Retina MBP and while it has plenty of room I dont want to waste all of that space. Thanks in advance.

    Start by deleting the partially downloaded files, this should free up a lot of space. Move/send them to the trash, then empty the trash. You may have to restart your mac to see the recovered hard drive space.

    I get that but the problem is that I can't find them. They are not in the downloads folder.

    Hi,

    Sorry it took so long for me to get back to you today.

    Open your finder (you should have apple hard drive selected or main user name)
    In the search area type: Windows8-ReleasePreview-64Bit-English.iso (if it was in English and 64 Bit, if not stop at Preview-)
    That should show you the location of any unfinished downloads.
    Send then to the trash then empty trash.
