Unfortunately, the newest version has not solved this recurrent problem. After an hour or so of intermittent use, usually while using Microsoft Word, the machine bogs down, utilization goes over 100%, and a reboot is necessary. I was hoping this would have been fixed with the release version, but such is not the case. The problem is occurring when using Dragon NaturallySpeaking and dictating to the Macintosh side.
i read in this forum to try and disable your usb ports in the configuration menu. seems windows is polling them too much
High CPU utilization and system slowdowns while using Dragon NaturallySpeaking with Microsoft Word on the Mac side may indicate a compatibility or resource-management issue. As a troubleshooting step, please ensure that you are running the latest updates for Dragon, Microsoft Word, macOS, and your virtualization software. If the problem persists, try dictating into a different application to determine whether the issue is specific to Word. It would also be helpful to monitor Activity Monitor when the slowdown occurs and note which process is consuming the most CPU resources.
