I am running Parallels 8 with a Windows 8 build. The snap feature, when used on the right side of the screen, goes completely nuts. It does work normally when used on the top of the screen or left side of the screen.

It first looks like it is working properly, then it goes full, wide screen stretched, and then it goes back to normal (small) sized.

I have Cinch installed on the Mac side of the equation and thought that the conflict was with Cinch, but even after disabling Cinch, it still does the same thing.

If anyone out there has any ideas, please throw them my way. I have tried all of the normal things, such as re-installing tools, enabling and disabling the snap feature while still using Cinch, disabling Cinch and keeping the snap feature enabled, moving the Mac dock around, etc.

Thanks to everyone for their time!

I am running Parallels 8 with a Windows 8 build on Mountain Lion (Mac OSX 10.8.2).

    worked, kind of...

Looks like the only thing that is still malfunctioning is Office 2013 products. Have you seen any conflicts from Office products with Parallels before?

Are you running Office 2013 Preview or the final build? Are you on a Retina MBP?

The MacBook is a MacBook Air- external monitor via the Thunderbolt port. Machine is closed running a single monitor (Apple Thunderbolt Display).

still looking for a solution. Thought that the final build of Office 2013 would fix it, but it does not. HELP!

To reiterate what Andrew said, if you followed the instructions in the kb and doesn't work the next thing is to create a problem report and post it here.

preferences > coherence > allow auto full screen mode (or something like that - there are only 2 options) - turn it off
