I have had an issue with Parallels applying keystrokes in MAC to my Windows VM. This issue does not happen the other way around with the VM applying keystrokes to the Host. Also my Linux VM does not seem to be impacted. I've opened a few tickets and showed the Parallels support team to no avail. I enjoy using Parallels, but this keystroke issue being applied to Windows VM has gone from being annoying to causing issues with applications that are open in Windows. Anyone else have this issue and resolve it?

I originally had the issue in parallels 7. I upgraded to 8 and the issue persisted. I reinstalled OSX because of going to SSD and installed Parallels fresh only pulling files I needed from TimeMachine. It's almost like there is an issue in the VM, but I really do not want to start fresh here.

    Hi Bluemroadster,
The shortcuts can be configured the way you like at Parallels Desktop->Preferences->Shortcuts.
Also, I couldn't find any related tickets from you in our support system. Could you please send me the ticket numbers?

    Appreciate your response.

I am not concerned about Shortcuts.

An example of what I am talking about is every key stroke that I am entering in this message is applied to the Windows VM. So if I flip over to Windows I will see these characters applied to what ever text area, and if there are no text areas, then windows would be dinging with every key stroke.

It does not happen all the time. Every once in a while the bug gets triggered, which I have not figured out the trigger. If I flip over to the windows VM and do something, whatever, and flip back over to the host then the bug stops 100% of the time until the next time it gets triggered.
