I am running Parallels 7 and using Windows 7. I started noticing an issue when screen sharing in Windows. So I ran speedtest.net in both Mac and Windows. Mac: Upload - 3.0 Mbps Download - 8.61 Mbps Windows Upload - 0.08 Mbps Download - 8.67 Mbps So the download speed is basically the same. Upload speed though is gone in Windows. In my VM configuration, I am using Shared Network. Has anyone else had this issue with Windows VM under Parallels? Thanks!
What speed do you get if you select bridged networking, giving the VM an IP directly from the router instead of from the Mac? Steve
Same Problem I'm having the same problem in both Bridged and Shared mode. 40Mb down, 0.8 Mb up (should be synchronous - T3). I was able to remedy the situation temporarily by changing the adapter's MAC (physical) address in Bridged mode, which is a pain because I have critical business network permissions/reservation tied to my MAC address. Help!
I have the same problem with Parallels 8 and Win7. Upload speeds are a joke. But I don't have the problem with my win8 Machine running on the same machine.
