So I am unable to complete the transfer to my Mac. Getting e bad pool error message. I found this: http://kb.parallels.com/en/5062
However, my BSOD appears before the configuration takes place, so I can't restart in safe mode? Any suggestions? Should I do something to the PC before transferring?

Generate a problem report via Parallels Help menu right after the BSOD and post report ID here.

bad pool 19950312 BSOD when shutting down

I generated a problem report.ID 19950312 I'm guessing this is related to this thread. I have been experiencing a blue screen of death when shutting down windows 7. This has been happening ever since I migrated. Fortunately Windows 7 still works and I continue to do my work but of course makes me very nervous that shutting down creates a BSOD. It will be great if I could fix this.

    Thanks,
    Jerry

    fixed! Configure device SATA/IDE

After fussing around for a couple of weeks, with removing bloatware and cleaning registry in my migrated Windows 7 vm, I finally found a Parallels tech bulletin about how if you have a blue screen of death, go into configure->device->hard disk and change from either SATA to IDE or the other way. I tried it and the blue screen finally went away. It feels good!!

I can't figure out how to find the tech bulletin again.
