My windows run well a long time, but either a windows update or a parallels update now results in a problem. I use W7 on my MacBook Pro (early 2011) with 10.8.2. Normally I closed the MB and opened it later and all software worked, including parallels. Now when I reopen the MacBook the network fails to reconnect. There is no way to restart it, except booting W7 new. Then all works fine. I didn't change anything in parallels and neither in OSX. What can I do?
Do you use bridged network or the host-network? What if you disconnect the network device in the parallels desktop menu and reconnect then?
I use bridged network connection. When I disconnect and reconnect it (or change from standard to wifi), it searches for a new IP but after a while it shows the red cross.
