Hi people,
I wonder how to adjust the keyboard layout in windows 8 while running parallels 8. It seems to be absolutely confusing, since the parallels layout deals with some key combinations (cmd+c, etc.) but does not deal with characters, like @ and {}[], etc. Actually it seems the mac keyboard gets pretty useless in parallels, and plugging in a windows keyboard makes the whole thing even more confusing, so this is not a solution either. So what is the solution in parallels? How do I get the mac keyboard properly working with the mac layout in windows? For a start it would be sufficient to know how to force parallels to use the normal combinations for the ALT key, for example alt+8 prints a { instead of cmd + alt + 8 which makes a lot of things easier and a lot less confusing.
(For being able to adjust some keys yourself, it is not possible to address some keys, like AltGr which would be necessary for mapping @ sign)
Thanks!
